SHLM Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026

This year, the SHL Membership Ltd (SHLM) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place online on Tuesday 14 July 2026 at 12:00 noon (BST).

During the AGM, the SHLM Chair, Steven Esom, and Chief Executive Officer, Jon Hancock, will provide an update to SHLM members about business progress over the past 12 months.

Our Chief Financial Officer, Eileen Jackson, will provide an overview of the audited accounts for 2025. Sedex Chief Customer Officer Allison Hudson will also present.

Members will have the opportunity to join and vote in the 2026 AGM. This includes: 

  • Learning about SHLM’s progress over the past 12 months
  • Voting to authorise the Board to appoint the independent auditors
  • Putting questions to the presenters

All SHLM members will be invited to attend the AGM via email, or to appoint a proxy and cast their votes ahead of the meeting. Members will shortly receive this invitation from Civica, the independent organisation managing the voting process at the AGM.

SHL Membership Ltd (“SHLM”, formerly Sedex Holdings Ltd / SHL) is a membership organisation incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under English law. As a membership organisation, SHLM is governed by our Memorandum and Articles of Association, which contain our Purpose and rules relating to the use of income and capital. 

Our Purpose is to promote improved labour and other corporate social responsibility practices, including facilitating communication of information within supply chains relating to improving labour practices and standards such as the Conventions and Recommendations of the International Labour Organization.

With more than 20 years of expertise, our membership comprises over 100,000 businesses and 120,000 supply chain sites across 35 sectors globally. This includes some of the world’s most recognisable brands such as Reckitt, Nestlé, Tesco, Molson Coors, Yum! Brands, Marks & Spencer, DP World, Mengniu, Asahi, Li & Fung, John Lewis Partnership (JLP) and Barclays.

Since August 2023 SHLM has been the majority shareholder in Sedex Information Exchange Ltd (SIEL) which operates the Sedex Platform, assessment tools (including the SMETA audit methodology) and services to supply chain businesses, to help them manage and improve their labour and other corporate social responsibility practices. SHLM currently holds this interest in Sedex Information Exchange Ltd alongside minority investor Lloyds Development Capital (LDC), however we are pursuing new investment arrangements for SIEL as announced in May 2026.
