For Supplier Members
The Management Controls webinar, introduces the Management Controls at My Business report. This report – available to those sites who are completing an SAQ – provides an overview of the management systems at a site across the SMETA 4 pillars. This allows suppliers to identify where they are strong and where improvement is needed in their management systems.

- 26/10/2021 – 11:00am – 12:00pm Chilean ST – Portuguese
In the Setting up your account webinar, we will show you the key steps on what to do next once a supplier has registered to Sedex.
The Managing audits on Sedex webinar, is designed to help you understand how to access and manage the audit on the Sedex platform during the various stages of an arranged audit with the audit firm.
For Buyer Members
In the Site Based Risk webinar, we will provide an explanation & demonstration of how to manage supply chain risk and single supplier site risk using the Sedex risk tool known as Radar.
The Site Management webinar, will provide an insight on how you can use this report to understand the management systems in place at your suppliers site.

Additional Chinese Language Training
Our team in China offer a variety of 1- or 3-day training for supplier organisations. Below is some detail of the training they offer along with the link to the dates available.
Internal Auditor Training 1-3 days
In the basic internal auditor training course, you will gain a thorough understanding of the entire audit process, preparation, audit scope, and audit requirements. The aim is to give participants a basic or advance understanding of the SMETA audit content and to develop the comprehensive skills of an internal auditor.
Environment, Fire Safety & chemical management training
Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) is a key element of SMETA audit , but also is vital for a company’s own management system which could help provide a safe working environment for employees. This can also help companies understand the environmental impact which would be an emerging agenda in the local market. This series of EHS training will help companies (buyers or suppliers) to identify the risk, understand the local law/regulation and embed the best practices into daily operation.
