Sedex e-Learning will support you to increase your employees’ knowledge of sustainability and understand priority areas for responsible sourcing.

The tool is now available for you to access through your member account anywhere at any time, supporting you to take a holistic approach throughout your corporate social responsibility planning. Sedex e-Learning is accessible to all members through Sedex Advance.

e-Learning features

We have launched a new e-Learning platform with our members in mind. We want e-Learning to be as easy to access and understand as possible, so we’ve made a few changes:

  • A new user interface that that makes e-Learning so much easier to navigate
  • Fully accessible in 3 different languages (English, Spanish, and Chinese), including platform navigation and search
  • Making it easier to share courses and content with your colleagues and other members
  • A simplified content structure, helping you quickly find the content you’re looking for.

What is Sedex e-Learning?

This platform includes training modules that cover our tools and services such as SMETA, the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), risk assessment (Radar), and issues such as working hours, fire safety and environmental protection. Each module includes tests and quizzes that require a passing score in order to complete the course. This helps learners showcase what they have learned and put into practice at their site.

e-Learning platform FAQs

How do I access the new e-Learning platform?

The same way as you do now! Just log in to Sedex Advance and click the ‘e-Learning’ button on the landing page.

Do new members have access to e-Learning straight away?

No, there is still a delay of up to 24 hours between becoming a Sedex member and receiving access to e-Learning.

What’s changing about e-Learning in 2022?

We have launched a new e-Learning platform with our members in mind. We want e-Learning to be as easy to access and understand as possible, so we’ve made a few changes:

  • A new user interface that that makes e-Learning so much easier to navigate
  • Fully accessible in 3 different languages (English, Spanish, and Chinese), including platform navigation and search
  • Making it easier to share courses and content with your colleagues and other members
  • A simplified content structure, helping you quickly find the content you’re looking for.

What languages will e-Learning be available in?

The new e-Learning platform will be available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

Are there any changes to the content or courses available on the new e-Learning platform?

As part of the platform migration, we’re restructuring our existing content to make it even easier for members to find what they need.

We will also be temporarily slimming down our responsible business/sourcing content, from 17 course to 5. Make sure you look out for new content announcements throughout 2022.

What’s happening to existing e-Learning histories and reports?

While we complete the full transition to our new and improved e-Learning platform, from January 2022 members will be unable access existing e-Learning reports in Analytics. It is our intention to provide you with these reports again in the future, once we’ve determined the optimum solution for both our members and the new platform.

In the meantime, all information from the legacy e-Learning reports will still be available in Sedex Analytics until the end of January 2022 to allow members to export any data they wish to keep.
