Risk Assessment Training
The Sedex risk assessment tool, Radar, gives you a clear indication of the likelihood of risks occurring in your supply chain. Access to the tool is only available for Buyer (A) or Buyer/Supplier (AB) members who have attended a risk assessment training session on the tool’s site-based risk reports.
The webinar-based training session will guide you in getting the most from Radar’s reports on site-based risk scores, and support managing your supply chain data at a more sophisticated level.
In the 1.5 hour session, you will be introduced to:
- The risk assessment matrix: shows you the risk scores of all your sites and supplier sites who have completed the Sedex Self-Assessment Questionnaire
- The site overview report: breaks down the nature of risk at a specific site
- Guidance on how to interpret these reports
In addition to this training on the site-based reports we offer another webinar about the pre-screening reports available in Radar.

SMETA Foundation Workshop
This one-day workshop is primarily designed for auditors, but is also useful to anyone with social auditing experience, including ethical trade managers, social compliance managers and internal auditors etc. The session focuses on helping you understand and use the materials available to conduct a SMETA audit.
It is not intended to replace any formal training in social auditing skills. Therefore, the workshop is only open to people who have previously had some auditor skills training and experience of working as an auditor.
To best support our global membership, we have a network of trainers throughout the world who are licensed to deliver the SMETA Foundation Workshop.
