I am passionate about responsible sourcing and supply chain sustainability because the success of all business is directly proportional to the same. I believe that all businesses should prioritise ethics and accountability in their sourcing towards a sustainable production process.
Procurement process has an earnest impact on human resource and the environment. Biography

I am the Founder & Managing Director of GKW Retail Solutions Private Limited headquartered at New Delhi, India with additional offices In India and a team in Vietnam and Germany. We at GKW are solution provider for Retail and FMCG Industry. Our expertise spans across a broad spectrum of retail solutions, including retail fit-outs, fixtures, furniture, Point-of-sale merchandise (POSM) displays, visual merchandising and customised solutions. We also have an online furniture portal which is the 3rd largest portal in the Indian market today. We also take turnkey projects for retail brands for their stores.

Today we have an experience of working for over 625 brands in India and abroad and exporting our products to various countries. We have been participating in the international trade show “EUROSHOP” held at Germany where we have gained a lot of name in the international market. With my personal connections in Serbian, Turkish, Canadian and Australian partners we are focusing on our export business along with the growth in Indian market.

What I will bring to the SHL Board

As the Founder of GKW Retail Solutions Pvt Ltd, on the SHL Board I will share my extensive experience of 27 years in supply chain management, sustainability and stakeholder engagement to drive positive change in Sedex and help grow in the Indian as well as international markets.

Throughout my career, I have successfully implemented sustainable practices, ensured compliance with rigorous social and environmental standards and fostered collaborative relationships with all suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders. My expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration will enable me to make a valuable contribution to the SHL Board.

With my experience in running a successful business on this side of the world, which is hugely impacted by poverty and over-population, I am well-positioned to make a valuable contribution to the Sedex table. I am confident that my industry insights, business acumen, network in the Indian retail Industry and passion for sustainability will help drive Sedex’s mission forward. With a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges inherent in global supply chains, I am well-positioned to provide practical guidance and support to Sedex’s table.
