We're Updating Our Terms & Conditions (Ts & Cs)

We’re making some changes to our standard Terms and Conditions. The updated Ts & Cs will apply to Sedex customers from 31 July 2025.

As part of delivering our solutions roadmap, we regularly review our Terms and Conditions to ensure they reflect the full suite of our products and serivces.

We’re making some updates to these, and setting out the key changes in the new Terms and Conditions here. You don’t need to do or change anything – the Ts & Cs document in the Sedex Platform, on the website and in other locations will be updated automatically.

These updates won’t affect the services we provide to you, our day-to-day operations or our commitments to our customers.


What’s changing?

Additional terms

We’ve added terms that apply to additional products or services that you are now able to select, or be granted access to, under your agreement (see the section titled “Additional Products/Services” in Exhibit 1 via the link below).


Complying with laws and regulations

We’ve added obligations for Sedex and all users to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including sanctions.


Enhancing security of data, tools and content shared in the Sedex Platform

We’ve added terms to:

  • Clarify what the rights of users are when using the Sedex Platform.
  • Cover the prohibition of AI and LLMs being applied, unless written consent is obtained.
  • Clarify that Sedex log-ins should not be shared, and explain how we monitor log-ins.
  • Provide a link directly to our Privacy Policy with full information about how we fulfil our obligations as a data controller.


Changes in Sedex Holdings Ltd (“SHL”) membership registration process

From 31 July 2025, all new customers of Sedex will not automatically be registered as members of SHL. You can find out more about SHL on our Governance page.

If you were a registered member of SHL before 31 July 2025, you don’t need to do anything to maintain your membership.

If you became a new customer of Sedex after 31 July 2025, you can still apply to join SHL – please email SHL@sedex.com .

What’s staying the same?


Your service from Sedex

These changes won’t affect our services in any way. You won’t see any difference in how we operate our Platform, tools, or other services – except where we make them better!


How you contact and pay Sedex

All Sedex contact details in all regions will remain the same.

The same range of payment options to pay Sedex will remain available. Payments made on the Sedex platform will still be made in the same way.

What if I’ve negotiated changes to the Terms of Service/Ts & Cs?

Any changes to the Sedex Terms and Conditions that have been negotiated with individual customers will remain in force for the initial term of the agreement you have signed with us.

There’s no need for you to do anything to retain your negotiated terms, as we hold the contractual history for each customer on our systems for our records.
