Barbara Gregory

Barbara Gregory currently holds the position of Senior Manager on Walmart’s Responsible Sourcing team. She is an 18-year Walmart associate with over 14 years’ experience in supply chain compliance and investigations. In her current role, Barbara maintains the relationship with the third-party social audit programs that Walmart accepts and engages collaboratively with them to influence enhancements in their processes and protocols, with the aim of positively impacting the global supply chain as a whole. During her tenure, she has gained significant expertise in social standards comparison and indicators of forced labour.

In 2018, Barbara organized Walmart’s first Forced Labour Forum in Hong Kong, attended by the industry’s leading audit programs, audit firms, and experts in the fields of forced labour and human trafficking. She has also designed and delivered various training programs for suppliers and Walmart associates. Prior to joining Responsible Sourcing, Barbara held positions in Sustainable Textiles, Apparel Product Development, and Legal Real Estate.

Outside of her work at Walmart, Barbara founded Parents Against Child Trafficking, a non-profit initiative of Hub of HOPE. PACT was created to educate, enable, and empower parents and other caregivers to protect and defend children against the advances of child traffickers and other predators.

Barbara is originally from Joplin, Missouri and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Education Degree and Minor in Psychology from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. She is a 6-year member of Toastmasters International, and has won a number of awards and speech contests. Barbara lives in Bentonville, AR, the headquarters of Walmart Inc., and enjoys singing, theatrical performance, photography and spending time with her husband and three children.
