James Lucas

James has experience supporting on a range of ESG and responsible business projects, having worked within sustainability across the private and philanthropic sectors. His experience includes human rights due diligence, regulatory compliance, risk analysis and reporting across a number of industries such as apparel, food and beverage, FMCG and manufacturing. He has worked with a range of stakeholders globally throughout the project lifecycle to help achieve their ESG goals. Prior to Sedex, he gained considerable environmental experience, advising on biodiversity related issues within the development sector. He holds a MSc (Distinction) in Environment, Politics & Society from University College London and a First-Class Undergraduate Degree from the University of Oxford in Biological Sciences.
