Sedex business update
This week, Simon McCalla will be departing Sedex, and stepping down from the role of CEO. Following a family bereavement, Simon will use this time to focus on and support his family.
Simon has successfully led Sedex for the last two and a half years, including the development of a new five-year strategy, dealing with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and delivering business growth and profitability. The Sedex Board and Sedex team would like to thank Simon for his dedication to Sedex and our members and wish him all the best for the future.
The wider Sedex Executive Team remain highly committed to delivering our clear goals and priorities of the Sedex 2025 Strategy and are excited to continue growing the business into new and exciting areas.
Sedex will begin the search for a new CEO imminently, and Steven Esom, Chair of the Board, will step into the role as Executive Chair in the interim. We would like to thank our members for their continued support.
