What is a Member Director?
Sedex Holdings is the membership organisation that protects and promotes Sedex’s shared vision, as the holding company of the Sedex group. It the majority shareholder of our operational companies, with oversight and influence on Sedex’s strategy to deliver our vision.
Member Directors sit on the Sedex Holdings Board to represent the businesses using Sedex’s solutions, and keep our members’ needs at the centre of Sedex Holdings. A vacancy for a new Member Director has come up for 2024.
The Sedex Holdings Board plays a key role providing strategic input, perspective and guidance to the companies who provide the Sedex Platform, SMETA audit, assessment tools and other products and services.

Key Dates
- 24 May: Nominee shortlist published on the Sedex website, and shared to Sedex Holdings members as part of the formal notice for the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
- 25 June: Member Director election held at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
The Member Director appointment will be announced directly after the Sedex Holdings 2024 Annual General Meeting.
