Annual General Meeting
This year, the Sedex Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on 10th May at 12:00 pm (BST) and the AGM will be virtual.
During the AGM, the Sedex Chair, Steven Esom, and Sedex CEO, Simon McCalla, will provide an update to Sedex members about progress of the business over the past 12 months. Members will also have the opportunity to vote to approve the Sedex audited accounts for 2020 and appoint the auditors.
This year, there are two Member Director vacancies on the Board, and Member Director elections will take place at the AGM. Members will also be asked to ratify a one-year extension of their term of office, for three current Member Directors, and to elect two new Member Directors.
The Notice of the AGM contains the relevant Resolutions and provides for a poll to appoint the two new Member Directors. The Notice can be found here. You can view the profiles of the Member Director candidates here.
We have invited all Sedex members to attend the AGM, or to appoint a proxy and cast their votes ahead of the meeting. Once registered, members will receive login details via email to join the virtual AGM securely. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected]
Voting and registration process
Once you register to attend the AGM, an email will be sent within 3 working days to the email address we have registered for you, containing your unique link to attend and vote at the AGM.
If you appoint a proxy to attend on your behalf, their unique link to attend and vote will be sent nearer the time to the email address you provide on the proxy registration site. If you choose to cast your vote by proxy, you can appoint either the Chair or a nominated person to cast your vote.
The deadline for both is 12:00 pm (BST) on Sunday 9th May
